Back when beer was sent from England to thirsty British soldiers by boat, large quantities of hops were added to the beer to act as a preservative in order for the precious cargo, now called India Pale Ale, to survive the often long ocean journeys. This, bold, hoppy beer remains a popular thirst quencher today. Named for a locally infamous mine site, our Jokerville IPA is copper-colored, with generous quantities of Chinook and Willamette hops.
