LOT 9 was one of the first land grants built upon in Creemore some 200 years ago. It was rugged, rocky, and darn-near unfarmable at the time. But through hard work and sheer determination, the original founders of Creemore transformed this unlikely patch of land into some of the most prosperous field crops around. To honour this, we brew LOT 9 – a pilsner as golden as the fields themselves, and as refreshing as the river that ran through them. So roll up your sleeves and raise a glass to an honest day’s hard work! Note: This replaces the Creemore Springs Traditional Pilsner in the current lineup

First one I had of these, was drank in the can and it reacked of corn. Second one in a can, pours a clean golden colour with a froty warm cap, good retention and lacing. Smells pretty close to a Pils at first pour, but after a bit, almost Belgian yeast with a mix of malt and corn. Again, this mix appears in the taste with hints of spices from the hops. Much better from the glass and slightly colder. Still prefer their other non-Pilsner brew.

Pours a huge foamy bubbly off white head and has a clear golden appearance. Average carbonation. Thick lacing. Aromas are mostly grainy and malty. A little bit wheaty as well. Flavours are just as much grains as malts. Subtle notes of floral and herbal hops. Medium bodied mouthfeel with a slick and oily like sensation in the palate. Not too bad, nothing exciting.

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is cereal grains, yeast, and floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, and hops. Better than the traditional pilsner was in my opinion.
