Brewed with Canadian 2-row malted barley, loads of cookie-like oats, dark chocolatey malts, and nitrogenated to elevate its silky-smooth cocoa character. Pouring midnight black, with a creamy, dense mocha-brown cap of foam, this delightful and complete beer is sure to please your palate. One of the things that distinguish our fresh, local stout from others, is that it is nitro charged with a widget built into the can. Therefore, no need to shake the can before opening like many other craft stouts. Just crack open and pour hard!!

The beer pours a solid black colour with a creamy tan coloured head but leaves very little lacing. The aroma is roasted malt with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. I find nitro stouts usually on the thinner end of the stout/porter spectrum. The flavour is roasted malt with noted of milk chocolate and vanilla. The finish isn’t very bitter.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a big, thick foamy tan head that sticks around for quite awhile with some dirty lace remaining. Has a deep dark brown appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of roasted malt, barley, light toasty notes, earthy and herbal notes as well. Flavours are mostly dark roasted malt, notes of chocolate and coffee, some subtle hints of vanilla. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Full bodied. Goes down easy. Pretty good.
