Seems like Ashton brought this one back this year. Hazy golden-orange colour with a small warm cap and a nice ring around the collar. Maple sap aromas with some fruitiness and caramel malts. Maple flavours, but not too syrupy, and not too sweet. Very well-balanced with apples notes in the finish. Quite a nice maple ale that goes down nicely.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours a frothy creamy beige head and has a cloudy, dark amber appearance. Weak lacing. Mild maple and mostly malty aromas. Flavours are of the herbal and floral hop variety with some strong notes of sweeter malts. The maple is mildly apparent, mainly in the finish. Some spices as well. Slightly bitter in the finish on the palate. Slick oily mouthfeel. Not too bad, was expecting a little bit more maple.
