im a stout or a red kinda guy but i'll tell you this..... if you are looking for something different...not a wine cooler (GAG!!!!!) but a nice sit back and sip while throwing shoes or shooting stick type of drink.... hard cider...this is the one to try.....sweet smooth and full of flavor.

This is my first cider review, so might be off on some things. I prefer the old school ciders that were unfiltered kinda like apple juice. When I describe a beer on here as "looking like apple cider", I am not referring to this light clear pale appearance. This looked like slightly colored water to me. Looked and tasted a lot like a white wine, but as I drank more of it I tasted the apple. I had a few hard ciders before this that I liked (which I'll resample and review), but this was my least favorite of the small bunch.

This is from my notes yesterday, unable to access the website. It’s a TV dinner and a hard cider. And this one was a good choice. A clear slight yellow tinge colored brew. Accents the bubbles rising through the glass. Lots of apples in the aroma. Nice moderate body. Lots of smoothness. Mostly dry, with some sweetness in balance. Crisp on the palate. Really not a bad representation of the genre. Give it a try.

I'm a beer guy, I love beer. Beer has always been my drink of choice, though I do also drink wine on occasion, and spirits as well. Beer has been with us here in America since colonial times. But there is also another drink that has been here as long as beer, and that is cider. Hard cider has been popular in Europe for centuries, especially in countries such as England, Ireland, and France. Cider here in America, hasn't enjoyed steady popularity. Hard cider is apple cider that has been fermented, and is an alcoholic drink, usually coming in at about 6% abv, making it a bit more potent than your average beer. In colonial times, cider along with beer, was an every day drink. As much hard cider, if not more, was being produced and consumed than beer at points in time. But somewhere along the line the tradition of drinking hard cider, was lost. There has always been small, local, pockets of hard cider production, but cider has become popular once again due to cider companies such as Woodchuck, and the American Cider Company, makers of Cider Jack. Cider Jack pours to a bright golden color, with a slight white head that quickly fades. Carbonation is very lively. The nose has a nice sweet/sour apple aroma. The palate delivers more tart and sweet apple flavors. Cider Jack finishes with more apple flavor and dries on the tongue. This is a crisp, refreshing, hard cider. I'm a beer drinker, but I have always been a cider drinker as well. Cider Jack is a staple in my beer fridge(ok, my wife is the one that really loves it!) and it is a nice change of pace from beer. I like drinking hard cider also because there really is a tradition involved, it is as much a part of our American heritage as beer is. Cider Jack works really well with pork and turkey. I would match this with roasted pork loin, baked ham, or roasted turkey. This makes a nice aperitif, and would go great with a desert of hot apple pie.

Poured a clear fizzy yellow with a soda like head that disappears quickly. Aroma is sweet and tart apples. Flavor is a bit sour up front, then turns to really sweet apples. Not very complex, and a little too sweet for my tastes. Not bad, but could use some more tart sourness IMO.

I know it's only cider, oh, but I like it... like it ... yes I do. What can I say, I like ciders; no, they are certainly not up there with a good ale, but I do like them. They're also definitely a good way to take a beer break before sampling more beers. This one is good, but try those from Strongbow, Woodchuck, and Spanish Peaks first.

I got wasted of this stuff when i was trying to drown my sorrow's after my gfather past away. i loved the fresh, hard slap you in the face of apple cider taste with a nasty kick you to the curb aftermath.

Smells of apples and tastes of them too. What a shock that is! This is what all the chicks drank in college. Ah memories!

This is the first cider that I ever tried and it was at this point that I decided that I don't like Ciders. Nice coloring. High on the alcohol in fact if I could stomach more than one of these I imaging that it would give off quite the buzz followed by quite the vomit session.
