A golden bitter first produced for Ray at the Hawne Tavern in Halesowen in the late 90’s. His brief was to create a ‘traditional English ale’, the malt we use has always been English so this just left the hops. We plumped for the variety Phoenix which gives a slight floral, pine aroma with a bit of spice as well.
