I'm giving Kgalagadi Breweries another chance. Just how they (or SAB) ended up with the Carling label I have no idea. 12 Pula (about $2.25) over the bar in Gabs. Pours a Golden yellow with a short-live pure white head. Absolutely no nose whatsoever; but at least no off-aromas. Not a bad palate; smooth with just a bit of secluded bite. Mild flavor, nothing really stands out; subdued malt with no real hop presence; ends lightly sweet. Very drinkable, though; doesn't flaunt it's flavorless character - instead it's blandness sneaks up on you.
