This exciting lager is brewed to the exacting standards required by Soil Association Certification Ltd. of the United Kingdom. The lager malt is prepared from Organically grown Scottish barley. The hops are grown in New Zealand where the absence of pests means hops of a very high quality can be grown organically. The pure water comes from the rolling Scottish Border hills. To complete the process a specially selected lager yeast is used and fermentation is carried out at the low temperature of 11°C for a full 14 days. The end result is a premium beer with all the delicate flavours and aromas associated with a Pilsner type lager A refreshing clean tasting beer with an excellent aroma and aftertaste

Bottled@Poirotti's Skotoberfest 2007. Yellowish golden colour with small white creamy head. Aroma is skunked malts along with some grassy hops. Flavour is mainly the same. OK brew, but not very exciting.
