A family celebration led us to the Lizard for wing and pizza night. Lacertidus was my initial offering and it suited me well. Enjoyed with an order of Cajun wings and a slice of pizza the sweet and soft maltiness of this fine brew calmed the heat from the spices. Medium brown pour with a filmy tan head and spots of lacing. Moderate earthy peat with plenty of toffee and sweet rolls. Light to medium bodied with a creamy smoothness. Great dinner beer.
