Pours a clean darker amber colour with a frothy light warm-beige head that has great retention with some foamy-wavy lacing. Lots going on in the nose with spices. Too bad some rusty hop smell ruins a little thing. Other than that, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutty notes, anise, pumpkin and a bunch of plants. Gets better after breathing. The taste is pretty mild with no alcohol showing. A little rust at the beginning, but some nice bitterness in the finish. Light grass lingers. Decent spiced brew that is interesting. Just lacking a little balance and strength. Gets hazy near the end and really smells like gingerbread cookies. More points.
