Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
My first from this new brewer. The body is a slightly hazy orange amber, the head is thin but leaves some nice lace on the glass. Aromas of biscuts, grapefruit, and piney hops, nice but not terribly assertive. Medium body, a little chewy, and stickey but not overly so. Flavors have a nice hop bitterness, grapefruit, the rye is well balanced with the bready malts. Easy to drink, not overbearing, overall it was pretty decent.
