330 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear pale-amber coloured Pale Lager with a one finger light beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is faint caramel malts, grain, notes of fruits, apples and an unpleasant skunky feeling. The flavour is moderate sweety malts, straw, grains and spicy notes, pepper. The mouthfeel is light crispy, thin and a bit sticky. The texture is watery. This light to medium Pale Lager has a dry light malty finish. Surely under the tropic a different rating, but here in the metropolitan french area a not really convincing Pale Lager from the once Ile Bourbon.

A touch of exotics. Found in Montpellier (France). Traditionally looking pale lager: pale yellowish colour and some weak foam. But it has quite nice crispy malty and hoppy aroma with subtle corny and rice hints. Light bodied, watery and smooth brew. Goes malty with some hop accent and mild corny expression. A flavour is not very expressed because of watery domination. Still leaves fresh and pleasant malty feeling. Nothing very special about this beer. Just one of hundred pale lagers. Drinkable and refreshing, but not a gourmand brew.
