Comes out of the tap a nice clear amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled ivory head. Aroma is malty, fruity, and slightly sweet. Fruit and sweetness dominates the otherwise malty flavor, still a delight. Texture has about average firmness and fizz, leaving a fruity finish. If not outstanding, still enjoyable and refreshing, good for bringing a bit of spring into a chilly day.

Pretty much an average spring ale (or slightly above)....bottle says copper ale which bests describes. Lighter brown or copper colored. Thinner caramel malt with decent hop finish. Grew on me by the last sample of the 6-pack, so upped the rating a bit.

A coppery amber colored beer with a big creamy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time, settling into a thick ringlet and thin, sticky splotches of film. In the nose and the tasting I get a nice balance of caramel malt, not overly sweet and more grassy hops. Well carbonated in a light-medium body.

Very ale like in appearance and flavor, this lager pours a deep copper clear body with a thin off white head that has moderate retention and no lace. Ale like nose of carmel malt and spicy hops. Medium bodied mouth is nicely carbonated. Tastes like a copper or brown ale, lots of carmel, a touch sweet, finish is fairly dry. Not complex, no standard lager flavors, good session brew.

Blue Point Spring Fling 2.5 cheapdark On tap at the Mad Mex in Robinson. Nice and bubbly sparkling pale lager appearance. Not much detectable aroma. No bad olfactory on the nose. Interesting mild hop and new leather tastes. Barely any carbonation. Has a pleasant saison attitude about it. Decent well mannered finish, overall not bad!

A bit cloudy with a 1/2" head that remained for about half of my mug. In my opinion a bit too hoppy for a "spring" ale. Drinkable but you can do better.
