Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Sour Imperial Pastry Stout is quite the mouth full, we know… but this beer is worthy of such a title! Named after the most notorious and lively of the New Orleans Voodoo Loa, Baron Samedi has his eyes set on this decadent Voodoo brew! Our golden kettle sour ale was aged on Raspberries and Black Currant puree for over a month before getting a health blend of our Bourbon Barrel Aged Abyss Russian Imperial Stout! We then aged the combined product on 5 lbs of cocoa nibs to pull out a rich and decadent flavor. The final product is beyond complex! Layers of tart fruit, chocolate, vanilla sweetness and bourbon all come together in ways Birmingham has never seen! Baron Semedi is up to no good with this one!
