In 1667 a local law was passed that prohibited ‘masking and stirring the pot’ on Sundays. Those caught brewing on Sundays were subject to punishment in the Kirk session. Today, we are happy to be able to brew for our visitors on Sundays, when we produce this smooth, ruddy beer. Come visit us!
