Introducing Gigante Micro IPA, a light, hazy IPA with loads of flavour clocking in at a sessionable 3.3% ABV! This deliciously crisp and hop forward ale is named for Astros all- star José Altuve’s larger-than-life nickname and is brewed with Centennial and Wakatu hops providing fresh fruit and floral aromatics and flavours of light papaya and gentle orange zest.

Small can from LCBO. Pours an average size foamy white head and has a hazy yellowish golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Bubbly lace. Aromas of grassy and herbal hops, subtle citrus notes. Flavours are mostly grassy and citrusy, some mild grapefruit hints. Drying mouthfeel. Some mild bitterness in the finish. Not too bad overall and easy going down.

355ml can that pours a hazy light straw yellow colour with and orange hue. The head is bubbly with average stay and some bubbles staying around a bit. Unfiltered, getting hazier with some particles floating around. Aromas of orange at first with some pineapple that come and sweeten things. Then, what seems like honey notes come out. The flavours are a blend of these - honey, oranges with their juices and zest creating a nice dryness in the end. Hints of tropical fruits. Feels light, but it does pack a little more punch than expected at 3.3% ABV.
