Strong golden Ale Fermented with Pinot Grigio and Viognier Grape Juice. Complex and compelling, yet delicate and refined, For the Throne is our tribute to the final occupant of the Iron Throne. This strong golden ale is co-fermented with Pinot Grigio and Viognier grape juices, then bottle conditioned with Champagne yeast. The beer pours a striking golden copper with a fluffy white head. Aromas of honeysuckle and toasted grain mingle with notes of pear and apricot. The finish is clean and dry, with vibrant effervescence. For the Throne is an ale fit for royalty.

Taps clear amber with a thick ivory head. Aroma presents fresh malt, butterscotch, yeasty, hoppy and subtle tropical tones. Flavor yields strong butterscotch, tropical and malt notes with a woody hop and yeasty underpinning. Texture offers good body and lively fizz. Who will win the Game of Thrones?

750ml bottle that pours a clean golden colour with a light amber touch. The carbonation is lively and does help the white cap to stay a very long time. Frothy, and almost creamy by times. Foamy lacing is left. Alcohol nose with some sweetness from the malts, Belgian Ale yeast and grassy hops. The taste shows the Belgian Ale yeast with some nice fruitiness from the malts. Some banana notes with hints of pears. Seems like genuine Belgian Strong Ale. Just a tad too sweet or rich to have a lot of, but well-brewed.
