Wheat ale with natural lime flavor and aged in oak tequila barrels. / Reminiscent of your favorite frozen cocktail, Kentucky Tequila Barrel Wheat is a refreshing result of wheat, limes and tequila barrels. We took an American Wheat Ale, brewed it with a heavy hand of limes and let it age in freshly dumped Tequila Barrels. The result is a burst of key lime flavor followed by notes of oak and agave with a clean finish.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy, but short-lived, ivory head. Aroma presents lime, boozy, wheat and subtle yeasty tones. Flavor yields lime, tequila, wheat, a bit of yeast and a bit of hops. Texture delivers fair body and perky fizz. Roll out the barrel - to the tune of 'Tequila.'
