2019 edition 500ml bottle. Black coloured without highlights with a beige cap, good retention and some creamy lacing. Nicely balanced boozy aromas with the bourbon notes, liquorice, dark fruits, molasses, coffee and caramel. Flavours have the alcohol as well, warming a bit at first, with some good hops that help the finish with a dry edge. The bourbon is in the background with the roasted malts, molasses and chocolate hints. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy in the middle. Quite a nice strong stout that I hope to try again next year.
