Summer is here and along with it, a Pina Colada beer! We created this sour ale with huge amount of Toasted Coconut added in the Whirlpool and Pineapple during fermentation. Lactose was also used during brewing to add to the creamy sweetness to complete this summer delight.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy white head that dissipates to a small thin foamy coating. Some decent dirty lacing. Has a fairly clean golden coppery appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of floral and herbal hops, some yeast and wheaty notes, hints of coconut. Flavours are straight away coconut but then balances out with some pineapple, tarty and citrusy notes. Slight sour mouthfeel.

Mildly hazy, golden colour with a fizzy white cap, decent stay and some light lace. Roasted coconut aromas with hints of pineapples and sourness. The flavours are fairly sour though. Coconut still present and the pineapple in the background. Was not expecting much from this, but it does work. Nice coconut notes all around.
