The beer poured a solid black colour with a generous light brown cap that lingered on and provided decent lacing. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, and the distinct aroma of fresh blueberries. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was roasted malt, light coffee and vanilla notes. The blueberry flavour was weak, but as the beer warmed up, it became more prominent. Not a bad beer at all.
