Our offering is a double barrel blend of Pink Fuzz aged in red barrels with Brett. bruxellensis added for funkification. The nose explodes with barnyard character followed by a rich dose of red wine zapped with citrus tang on the palette. This is Pink Fuzz doing the jungle boogie at the psychedelic disco.

Picked up a 650ml bottle at the brewery. Pours a huge frothy off-white head and has a fairly clean golden appearance. Some thick soapy lace. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of Brett yeast, citrus and pine, some oak notes. Flavours are very citrusy and yeasty, some subtle tropical notes, a bit bready and some sweet malt hints. Some nice mild funky and tarty notes on the palate. Bitterness is well balanced with sweetness. Drying and slick mouthfeel.

650ml bottle for the brewery that pours a very slight hazed golden-yellow colour with a bubbly-foamy white cap, decent stay and light lacing. Brett is taking most of the nose with the earthy, funky and mild plastic notes. This is less apparent in the taste, as the original Pink Fuzz keeps it's bitterness. The mouthfeel has some dryness that builds up, but still wet enough to be refreshing. Citrus peel lingers on the tongue. Pretty good all-around but not feeling the oak barrels.
