Our sour stout was a happy coincidence of timing and taste. We kettle-soured the second runnings from our imperial stout and got notes of coffee and black cherries for an enjoyable fall beer.

Taps coffee brown with a nice beige head. Aroma offers roast malt and tart fruit. Flavor delivers roast malt, chocolate, tart fruit and subtle toffee tones. Mouthfeel features firm body and lively fizz. Gotta love coincidences like this.
