This beer is a tribute to Garred Sever, who mentioned our head brewer in his homebrewing days when he was living in Delaware. This stout boasts a big nose full of dark roasted coffee, dark toasted bread, and hints of dark chocolate. The beer finishes quite dry and fairly bitter, which cleanses the palate and keeps you wanting a little bit more.

Taps barely translucent reddish sable brown with a nice light tan head. Aroma features roast malt and quality coffee plus a hint of molasses. Flavor delivers roast malt, coffee, earthy, and subtle molasses and chocolate notes. Mouthfeel offers goos body if not lots of fizz, and a roast malt and woody hop finish. It’s dark, and it matters.
