Another thanks to eagle for stopping on his way through WV for this one. Poured an orange color with small head and almost no lacing. Aroma was very grassy and earthy. Flavor was of dirt some malts and a little lemon/citrus. Not a bad beer at all.

One day old growler from WVB. Poured an orange copper color with a thin head, especially for the style (lacing weak as well). The aroma was earthy, grassy, musty, spicey hoppiness. Flavor was caramel malts, some citrus notes, and then whamo, strong earthy, dusty/dirty, grassy, hops with some spiciness (almost an old bay type flavor that I sometimes get when drinking Gleumes altbier, and I'd bet those two beers share a German hop in common). Mouthfeel was moderately to slightly heavily bodied for the style among its peers, yet quite drinkable, a pretty nice interpretation of an APA (not orange rindy, not pale hop water, an earthy hoppy almost altbier-like take).

Clear deep red. No head. The aroma and flavor are sweet malt covering a well-boiled hop aroma and flavor. The malt is candy sweet in the flavor and a bit of a turnoff.
