Assertive notes of dark chocolate, cherries and roasted coffee beans with a smooth warming finish. In 1993 we set out to change the world one pint at a time. For 25 years we have forged an independent path, building a stronger community and creating an employee-owned company founded on brewing the best beer we can make. Cheers for supporting us at Left hand and independent craft beer.

Pours dark chocolate with a thick and persistent tan head. Aroma delivers chocolate, roast malt, tart cherry and subtle coffee and molasses tones. Sweet flavor yields chocolate, quality coffee, roast malt, cherry and molasses tones for a well-rounded and very drinkable stout. Texture offers viscous body and lively fizz. Sip it slowly and appreciate Left Hand brewing - may they continue for at least another 25 years.

I was a little disappointed with this Imperial Stout. Mostly because it was not very thick. Not extremely black in color. And the aroma was pretty plain. Couldn't taste the cherries at all. The coffee is extremely well balanced and not right in your face. And the chocolate comes out very well towards the end of the glass. As the stout becomes warmed up.
