The beer pours a pale translucent gold colour with a generous bubbly off-white head which disappears within seconds. The aroma is cereal malt, weak yeast, and some herbal hops notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is quite malty up front with lots of grains, followed by a decent bitter hop finish. Not a bad beer, but for some reason I was hoping for something more than ‘average’

First of two Ontario Pilsner tonight (the other from Big Rig). Pours a clean light-golden colour with a frothy-creamy white cap, good retention and small patches of lacing. Big cereal grain nose with some sweetness and very mild hops. The taste is quite cereal grain flavours as well with light hops in the finish. This creates a decent dry mouthfeel. Everything seems well-balanced and very nice for the style.
