Part of their winter 2016-17 Brewmaster's Selection 6-pack. Pours a clean, deep amber colour with a creamy beige head that stays a decent time, leaving creamy lace. Big malty aromas of caramel, pumpernickel bread with rusty hops and the spices showing a little with time. Cinnamon, ginger mostly but quite mild. The taste shows a little more of the spices with maybe a hint of all-spices. All a bit lighter. Easy-drinking, not syrupy, not too sweet, but a refreshing spiced ale.
