The Archdruid needed a ride to the ceremonies at the National Eisteddford of Wales, eager to preside over The Crowning of The Bard. Short of timber, he used ancient magic to lash immobilized leprechauns into a river worthy of raft. Notice the bejeweled chalice floating by the side of the Archdruid? It is filled with this Irish Red Ale we aged in Irish Whisky barrels. An nidh is amamh, is e is iongantaighe

Pours clear mahogany with a nice buff head. Strong aroma presents woody, toasted malt, whisky and caramel tones. Flavor delivers more malt and woody tone, not as much whisky or caramel, a bit of sour dark fruit and a snip of cinnamon. Mouthfeel features good body and some lively fizz. Magically delicious.

Pours brown with a red tinge. Head thins but leaves decent lacing. Holy shit is this beer ever sour. I like Irish Whisky but there is very little of it here. What there is, is very sour, tart cherries. Highly carbonated medium mouthfeel. This is what I would give an unwanted guest to get rid of them.
