Imperial Stouts are a thing of pure majesty. Dark, velvety, rich, luscious – majestic. We aged the Dark Knight in a Jack Daniels whiskey barrel imparting the whiskey flavor, oak and lending a faint smokiness in the background.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Pours coffee brown with a nice tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma grabs the nose with roast malt, whisky, molasses and quality coffee tones. Flavor presents roast malt, coffee and molasses tones with a pleasing whisky overtone and a hint of oak. Mouthfeel is not too firm, but tingle is strong. Don’t be scared, try a glass.
