Pours a clean amber colour with a warm cap, good retention and some light creamy lacing. Toffee with caramel malt in the nose and some vanilla to balance out the sweetness. The taste is pretty sweet though, with some light alcohol. Hints of dark fruits blend things. A little oily, a little syrupy. Could not drink another, right after.

Comes in a box packaging, 330ml bottle. Pours a good size foamy white that goes away fairly quickly. Weak lacing. Has a light amber appearance. Aromas are caramel, toasted and sweet malts, vanilla. Flavours are also sweet malts, caramel, and some resin notes. Some subtle spice notes as well vanilla. Not much going on with the fired oak. The alcohol is somewhat noticeable after while. It's alright.

330ml bottle from BCLDB Nordel Crossing. Not a bargain at well >$5 for the usual I&G malt bomb derivative. Nice looking pour of clear copper although minimal head due to the lack of carbonation. The usual I&G aroma, toffee and/or caramel. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavour had plenty of syrupy caramel/toffee, some booziness. Not getting much of the fired oak here, maybe just a teaser of smoke, but it could've been more. Okay, not great.
