A well-balanced European-style amber. Full bodied with a complex malt profile. Finishing with a crisp hop bitterness & unfolding esters on the nose.

The beer pours a translucent light rust colour with a huge generous light tan coloured head which doesn’t last very long, nor does it lace very well. The aroma is caramel, some citrus peel, earthy hops, and a light spicy note. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, sticky, with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the caramel malt sweetness, and citrus peel bitterness in the finish. I quite like the beer.

Pours a deeper amber colour with a beautiful creamy-foamy beige head, good retention and creamy lacing. Big aromas of toasted cereal malts, quite nutty with some toffee and hints of hops. The taste starts off a little too sweet, but calms down quickly with some nuttiness lingering with the light hops. Some decent dryness in the finish. A little too rich is some parts, but an overall good first brew for this brewery.
