This Imperial Red IPA is the big brother to our standard Imperial IPA Howling Moon. Clocking in at 9% and 97 ibus, it uses more hops than any other Wolf’s Ridge beer to date. Deep garnet in color with bold aromatics of pine, cherry, and citrus fruit from a healthy dosing of El Dorado and Simcoe hops. The addition of lactose sugar lends a mild sweetness to the flavor, which balances out the aggressive bitterness underlying the juicy tropical fruit flavor.

pours a reddish-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma of citrus, hops and grainy malt. The taste is resiny hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is hoppy up front with a malty aftertaste. the mouthfeel is medium to full bodied.
