Step right up and try a taste of our Side Show Series: The Strong Man! Only the big, buff, and burly can stand up to this Belgian Dark Strong Ale. To the nose, a sweet scent of cola and dark fruits such as cherry and plum with an underlying hint of black liquorice and bubblegum. As this chestnut hued brew grazes the palate, flavours of caramelized sugars like the sweet toppings of crème brûlée fill your mouth revealing the taste of ripe banana on the finish.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours a fairly thick frothy beige head and has a hazy dark brown appearance. Lacing is good, a bit sticky. Aromas are yeasty, wheaty and sweet malts. Flavours of roasted malt, spices, Belgian yeast notes, hints of chocolate and coffee. Sweetness on the palate.

Enjoyed at the Loon. Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a light beige head and creamy lacing. Beautiful aromas of spices (nutmeg, cloves) over roasted malts. Hints of bananas from the wheat, I guess. Lots of the same for the taste with dark fruit notes and nice bitterness in the finish, with some apples. A good strong Belgian dark ale with lots going on.
