    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

Pours opaque dark chocolate brown with a thick and fairly lasting light tan head. Aroma delivers roasted malt, caramel, oak, smoky and toffee tones. Flavor is not quite as complex as the aroma; however, smoky roast malt, caramel and toffee tones definitely make an appearance. Mouthfeel presents good body and plenty of fizz. Snow, and tell how good it is.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

12 oz bottle, best by 3/14/16. Pours hazy dark ruby amber with a medium creamy light head head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet peaty caramel malts with a little fruit.

The flavor is sweet caramel malt with a little peat and cola and a fairly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, just an ok scotch ale. Don't really notice any oak.
