Heavy Bells is a bourbon-barrel aged, Belgian-style Quadrupel ale. By taking our Quasimodo and then aging it to perfection in eight-year-old bourbon barrels, we produced a full-bodied ale of incredible richness and complexity. Every drop will leave your senses ringing.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10

Comes out of the tap rich coffee brown with a decent tan head. Aroma has a noticeable alcohol bite, as well as earthy, woody, caramel, bourbon, and roast malt notes. Bold flavor starts with bourbon-infused oak and then adds fruity, malty, and nutty tones plus caramel and toasty hints. Heavy, viscous mouthfeel has fizz to spare. Ring up another winner for 3 Taverns!
