Courtesy of slowrunner72 - thanks Chris for this Nevada goody. An clear amber pour with a thinnish white head and nice lacing. Aromas of slightly sweet malts and a good bit of hops. Taste is smooth and balanced with the malts up front and moderate hops bitter. Nice amber - good for my first Nevada beer.

(used to) rival my favorite ambers. More consistantly good than Red Horse, and just as good in the bottle as draught. Great amber for hopheads, but still has a nice malty backbone. 2010-too many off batches makes me think the quality of this brewer has slipped quite a bit. too many duds...tasting of bland malt and less hops. probably won't buy again, which is a shame. anywhere from a 3 to a 4.

It's been a long time coming, finding a beer made by a brewery in Nevada. You'd think that as big as Las Vegas is and how many people frequent that city, along with Reno that there'd be more craft breweries. Guess it's just gambling and more gambling in those cities. Still glad to see Ruby Mountain at the store with all it's different styles.

The beer pours out a hazy light copper/amber color with a nice off-white 1-finger thick head. The aroma is mostly made up from light fruits (peaches?), caramel malts, with a light floral bitterness to it. Mouthfeel is slightly watery and sptrizy. Flavors started off with a subtle caramel maly roast quality and then finished with just a touch of floral hops. Decent beer, given how boring some beers in this style can be. Not a barnburner, but not bad for my first beer from Nevada.

I do not like this...to bitter, not a good ale. Not even if it was all to chose from, let the cowboys have this one. I wish I would have chose something else, but not much of a selection.
