Pours clear darkish amber with a thick and frothy eggshell head that says hello but doesn’t stay for long. Strong aroma has notes of bourbon-soaked wood, caramel, malt, and vanilla. Bold flavor bursts with bourbon, woody, malty, vanilla, and subtle caramel and earthy notes. This is a beer to be reckoned with - sip it s-l-o-w-l-y, at the pace of Holst’s music! Mouthfeel has firm, viscous body and good fizz. This one is a ringer.

A deep mahogany colored beer with a small, three fingered sudsy textured beige colored head rising above. There’s some hang time on the head. A moderate ringlet is left. Bourbon’s in the nose, bourbon is in the tasting. Some woodsiness. Some grassy bitterness nicely balances everything out. Smooth, sipping
