Strong, syrupy aroma has decidedly fruity and treacle notes, with a hint of horehound. Pours a dark, barely translucent sepia with a thick, dark buff head that hangs around for a bit. Robust, mouth-filling flavor has firm notes of malt, apple, caramel and horehound. Gets them lips a-smackin’! Firm, smooth texture has a good fizz and leaves a somewhat fruity-sweet finish as if I had just eaten a very tasty pear. Dairug-beer XV!
