PORTER CULTURE is a Baltic Porter that starts with a base of Pilsner and Munich malts and we layer in chocolate wheat and de-bittered black malt to provide flavor of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins and just a hint of roast. Appropriately hopped to provide a crisp bitterness in the finish and fermented with our house lager yeast to provide a neutral yeast profile that stays out of the way and lets the malts take center stage. Porter Culture Pour We recommend a tulip glass, it's pretty Pair Dark chocolate, caramelized onions or funky blue cheese pair beautifully Porter Culture pours wonderfully dark with a deep brown head. Immediate aromas of dark chocolate and light roast coffee greet your nose. A complex flavor profile delivers hints of raisin and toast with a rich, chocolate malt depth and lightly bitter, appropriately dry finish.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Dark body with ruby/ brown edges, the head started off frothy and fizzy but quickly receded. Chocolate with slight bitter roasted malts for the smell.Mouthfeel is slightly prickly from the carbonation, medium bodied with a faint oiliness. Flavor is the roasted malts, subtle at first then really picking up with a coffee bitterness. Overall its a pretty good beer, glad to have bought the full sixer instead of the single i was going to get.
