Can from the LCBO that pours a clean amber colour with a kind of creamy warm head, decent stay and some creamy lacing streaks. Some spicy rye notes in the nose with lots of toasted malt, cereal and hints of caramel. The taste shows the spiciness of the rye with the help of the hops, but the cereal malts seems almost on the diacetyl side with the yeast direction. Not one that goes down as well for me.

The beer pours a burnt amber colour with a generous light tan coloured head that lasts a few minutes. The aroma is rye malt, sopme weak spices, light citrus hops, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is rye and peppery spices up front followed by a citrusy hop bite with hints of yeast and cereal grains in the mix.

Can at Arrow and Loon. Pours a fairly big frothy and bubbly off-white head and has a cloudy amber coppery appearance. Big dirty lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas of toasted malt, earthy and spice notes, barley. Flavours are quite malty but has a bit of earthy and herbal hops, rye notes are subtle but noticeable. Also some notes of spices, a bit smokey in the finish. Some mild bitterness on the palate.

Draught. Colour - murky mud brown colour, light tan coloured head, decent lacing. Aroma - nutty malt, weak caramel, burnt wood, earthy hops. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - caramel notes, some bacon, and some spicy hop notes. Not a bad beer.
