    Open the bottle with EXTREME care - my sample was a veritable beer geyser! Well, that’s why we have Stanley Steemer. ;) Pours an opaque dark chocolate brown with a thick but effervescent light tan head. Roast malt aroma has a strong and sharp pepper overtone - I hope that it is not TOO spicy. Peppers dominate the flavor, but not overly so, allowing roast malt, caramel, and even subtle hay notes to take the stage. Pepper is lively and sharp, but doesn’t make one feel as if one had just swallowed straight sriracha instead of beer. Texture is smooth and fairly firm, but all the fizz apparently escaped when I opened the bloomin’ bottle. Get a couple of thirsty towels handy and pepper up.

    Nice strong brown with light caramel, cocoa and roast, nose and flavor. Medium bodied and smooth. Chili and cinnamon prevalent but not overdone. Good brew.

    I would call this an Imperial Brown...or like a spicy Winter Warmer. Also reminds me a bit of the Hebrew Collaboration/Reunion Ale but not as malty as that. Pretty complex in flavor....chocolate malt, chili peppers, cinnamon, other spices. At first wasn't too in to this one, but growing on me towards the end.

    A mahogany-brown colored beer with a big frothy textured, tan head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A thick ringlet is left. The hot peppers are presence in the nose and tasting. The chocolate, bittersweet follows. This would work as my chili is the sweetness leads and the heat follows. I did not, could not finish it.
