Growler. Pours a hazy, semi-translucent apricot with a thick buff head. Flavor has notes of coriander, yeast, pumpkin, banana, even a snipped of butterscotch. Pumpkin comes through even stronger in the scrumptious flavor, along with yeast, butterscotch, banana and spices. Texture is thick, and tingle is not strong but persists. I say, you say, we all say, this is a darn good brewski!

Decent nose but weaker than the flavor, which mixes the good parts of a big chewy yet smooth Baltic porter body and flavors of dark fruit, cocoa and light toasted malts with pumpkin spices. I think the tripel is the better beer but this satisfies my pumpkin rumblings for now...

Big review night with the local Brew Crew: 18 different beers with barbecue, delicious desserts, and good company. Dark coffee color with a big dense head. Sweet yet herbal-medicinal aroma. Really mild and not very hoppy flavor is also unpleasantly herbal with just a trace of smoke. The aftertaste is like cough syrup. Sticky but thin. I think 21st Amendment rather than Elysian really made the better of the "He Said" duo.
