Could be my first sample in this style. One of the most unique brews i had. For only 3% this is packing some serious flavors. I was told that the mash is cooked twice, which gives a nutty and toasty background. Lemon/citrus tart up front with some light wheat in there. I am defintely sold! Advised to drink this at the end of the flight, as these flavors would linger and mess up the beers that follow.

My second Berliner Weiss in as many weeks. And I'm beginning to wonder why it is such a rare genre. This pale tallow ale with a big sudsy textured head is effervescent. A bubbly treat. Good hang time on the head settling into a thin ringlet. The lemon presence might have one think it adds to the genre's tart characteristic. The lemon here tempers that genre tartness and makes this a refreshing treat.
