This is really more like a red ale, but not quite an Irish Red...or maybe I added it in the wrong spot. Either way, a dark dark amber appearance with the flavor of a red. I think this is my first red/amber from MH. Good balance of malt and medium hop, although it leans slightly towards the malt here. Not as good as the West Coast brews in this style, but not bad at all for the price. Bought in the Night of the Living Dead variety pack. One of their better mix-packs in a while! And, one of their better new offerings in a while....especially for the summer/spring season (although this is more of a pre-fall new release).
