Don’t wreck a sublime chocolate experience by feeling guilty. Chocolate isn’t like premarital sex. It will not make you pregnant. And it always feels good. Imperial chocolate milk stout brewed with real cocoa, clocking in at 10%abv, and making love to your mouth like a horny sorority girl.

Brewed last March. Pours about like used motor oil with a one finger chocolate colored head that goes away fairly slow. Aroma is very dark roasted and boozy. Hints of chocolate and figs top the nose. Taste is very dry/bitter like coffee grounds. Lactic notes along with a heavy metallic hit. Finishes off like water. Too much metal, Kinda tastes like blood.

Pours a rich, oily, black sable with a thick, fizzy, dark tan head that, unfortunately, doesn’t stick around too long. Strong aroma fills the nose with roast malt, chocolate, coffee and licorice notes. Flavor is even better, featuring smoky malt, coffee, semi-sweet chocolate and licorice with hints of caramel and molasses. Texture, though thick and oily, lacks fizz and life. Still, an enjoyable and worthy stout.
