kinda halfway between an extra stout and an imperial. highly roasted aroma, with a nice balance op hops, chcoolate and coffee. nice brew, but overpriced for what it is, like most of MS bottles.

A solid black appearance with a moderate tan head. The aroma is chocolate, cookies, and some coffee. The flavor contains some chocolate, oatmeal raisin cookies. The palate is a bit thin and the finish is sweet. Overall a decent stout.

Black with wood stain brown around the edges. The head starts off a tan cream foam and gradually faded over the two hours to nothing, but spent most of those two hours completely covering the beer. The aroma is malty, chocolate, toffe and soy sauce. The flavor is much the same. Not overly sweet. It actually comes across much like an imperial stout, but lighter in flavor.
