With the perfect balance of roasty stout, and chocolately coffee notes, Kujo's bark is just as big as his bite. Flavor notes: Subtle earthiness with prominent coffee, vanilla, chocolate with toffee flavors. Pairs with anything nutty, chocolate or toffee-flavored.

An opaque black pour into a snifter. The small tan head quickly disappears. Some spotty, mild lacing. Dark roasted coffee dominates the aromas. Also get vanilla, dark chocolate and roasted malt. Strong dark coffee leads the flavor parade, with roasted malt and vanilla. Lingering coffee aftertaste. Mouthfeel a bit on the thin side for an Imperial Stout. Probably the most coffee forward stout I have yet to taste.

12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown black with a medium creamy brown head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet lactic vanilla and chocolate with some dark fruit and acidic coffee roast.

The flavor is sweet vanilla with some dark fruit and a leathery roast coffee finish. The mouhfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is a bit watery.

Overall, it's a bit overly sweet for me and lacking in coffee.

Black pour, medium tan head, ample lacing, just a smidge thin. Heavy black coffee and roasted malts in the initial nose and taste, then dark chocolates and mocha, then more coffee and some molasses. Nice burnt bitter linger too. Nice brew.

I had this beer on draft at Beamer's in Roanoke, VA. What a great beer from my homeland of Baltimore. It was dark, roasted, and heavy. A full beer and coffee out the wazoo. A great beer.

Had this one bottled a while back - not sure why i didn't rate right away. A worthy beer, loads of cofee and bitterness up front, with some sweet coffee and chocolate to temper the flavor. medium to thick feel, and pretty smooth for the abv.

I LOVE this beer! And how could I not? Robust coffee, chocolate, vanilla, toffee, dark, no foam. Nice and thick. Reminds me a little like 3 Stars Brewing Pandemic Porter. This is a seasonal beer that I hope stays around for a while. I enjoy Flying Dog's humor in the naming and backstories of their beers. I'm feeling a roadtrip to Frederick, MD to check out this fun brewery in the near future! Thanks to Foam for sharing!
