The coffee vanilla porter pours dark brown to black with a creamy mocha coloured foam. The aroma is complex with roasted coffee, caramel, vanilla, and even a slight fruitiness. Taste is coffee, roastiness, vanilla, and some burnt caramel or toffee. Medium bodied and light carbonation. Post fermentation, vanilla and locally roasted coffee are added before packaging.
