I pop the cap and am immediately taken aback with massive coffee aromas - so strong it smells like Starbucks in my living room. The pour is brown/black with no noticeable head but ample carbonation. Immense coffee taste with faint notes of toasted barley and chocolate. However, this is just way too thin. It's a nice beer but is completely overpowered with coffee and there isn't enough malt to back it up. It's borderline watery. Valiant effort, but dial up the malt bill next time to give this brew some body.
